This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect information when you use the M2tric app, website and related services. M2tric is an Australian-built software product designed as a workflow and communication tool for trade businesses.
Who We Are
M2tric is a workflow application designed to help trade businesses capture job measurements, photos and notes, and share job details between estimators, office staff, installers and clients. M2tric is not an invoicing, accounting or pricing platform.
Information We Collect
We collect only the information required to operate the service.
A. Account Information
Name, email address, business name, user role (e.g. estimator, installer, admin)
B. Job & Project Information
Job addresses, measurements and area data, photos uploaded to jobs, notes and comments, client contact details (when added by users)
C. Usage Information
App activity (for reliability and improvement), device and app version information, and log data related to syncing and offline use.
D. Payment Information
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. M2tric does not store, process, or have access to your credit card details.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and operate the M2tric service, store and sync job data across users, enable collaboration between team members and clients, improve app reliability and performance, communicate important service updates, and manage subscriptions and billing. We do not sell your data.
Data Storage & Security
All job data, photos, and client information are stored in secure, encrypted systems, with access restricted to authorised users invited by the account owner. Offline data captured on devices syncs securely once an internet connection is available, and we take reasonable steps to protect your data from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Online & Offline Use
M2tric supports offline use for capturing measurements, photos, and notes. An active internet connection is required to sync data between users, share job details, and invite team members or clients.
Sharing Information
Your data is shared only with users you invite to your account, clients you choose to add to a job, and trusted service providers such as Stripe strictly for service delivery. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Client Access
Clients added to jobs can view job details shared with them and may add comments where enabled. Clients do not see pricing, and they do not pay for access.
Cookies & Website Data
Our website may use cookies and analytics tools to improve performance, understand how visitors use the site, and enhance user experience. These do not identify you personally unless you choose to provide information.
We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking across third-party websites.
Your Rights
You have the right to access your personal information, request corrections, request deletion (subject to legal and operational requirements), and cancel your subscription at any time. Downgrades take effect from the next billing cycle, while upgrades apply immediately.
Data Retention
We retain data only for as long as your account remains active, it is required to provide the service, or required by law. You may request deletion of your data upon account cancellation.
International Access
While M2tric is built in Australia, your data may be stored using secure cloud infrastructure located in Australia or other trusted regions with appropriate data protection standards.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website and, where appropriate, communicated through the app.
