These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the M2tric application, website, and related services (“Service”). By creating an account or using M2tric, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
About M2tric (Metric)
M2tric is a workflow and communication tool for trade businesses to capture measurements, photos, and job details and share them between estimators, office staff, installers, and clients, and it is not an invoicing, accounting, pricing, or quoting platform.
Who it's for?
Built primarily for flooring teams and other trade businesses that measure work by square metres. M2tric is flexible by design and may also be used by other trades with similar workflows.
Account Registration
To use M2tric, you must create an account with accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, be authorised to act on behalf of your business if applicable, and you are responsible for all activity under your account.
User Roles & Access
Depending on your plan, you may invite team members, assign roles, and invite clients to view job details, with client access provided free of charge and responsibility remaining with you to manage access.
You are responsible for managing access permissions and ensuring invited users and clients use the Service appropriately.
Subscriptions & Billing
M2tric offers subscription plans with defined features and user limits, includes a 14-day free trial, bills subscriptions monthly via Stripe, applies upgrades immediately, downgrades at the next billing cycle, and does not provide refunds unless required by law.
Online & Offline Use
M2tric supports offline capture of measurements, photos, and notes, but an active internet connection is required to sync data, share jobs, and invite users or clients.
Data & Content Ownership
You retain ownership of all job data, measurements, photos, notes, and client information, while granting M2tric a limited licence to process this data solely to provide the Service.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service unlawfully, upload harmful content, access unauthorised data, or interfere with the Service, and accounts may be suspended or terminated for breaches.
You must not use M2tric to store unlawful, misleading, or infringing content.
Data Security & Privacy
We take reasonable steps to protect your data using secure, encrypted systems, and your use of M2tric is governed by our Privacy Policy.
While we take reasonable steps to protect data, no system is completely secure and you acknowledge use of the Service is at your own risk.
Service Availability
M2tric aims to provide reliable access but does not guarantee uninterrupted service and may perform maintenance, updates, or temporary suspensions without liability beyond reasonable control.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, M2tric is provided “as is”, we are not responsible for business decisions made using the Service, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
M2tric does not guarantee the accuracy of measurements, notes, or information entered by users and is not responsible for errors arising from user input.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for breaches, legal requirements, or service discontinuation, and data access will be handled in line with data retention policies.
Upon termination, you may request export of your data within a reasonable period, subject to technical limitations.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time, with changes posted on our website and continued use of the Service indicating acceptance.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Australian law and subject to the jurisdiction of Australian courts.
